OUR STORY....
Before the forerunner activated the halo rings ancient humans sent a Destroyer to a Forerunner planet that had been over run by flood to be cleansed they fought the flood for months when they soon realized it was hopeless so they rounded up all remaining forerunner survivors one of which was a woman who had a son with the commander of the Destroyer as did many others on board but when they left the planet the planet a few flood spores sneaked on board and eventually infected half the ship scared and with few options left the crew using their advanced technology decided to put the now teenagers into cryo pods on the uninfected part of the ship and were years later discovered by ONI and having no memory of what happened were trained to be ODSTs and later chosen to be spartan IVS and it was then that ONI told them that that the half of the destroyer they were found on still contained the letters Eclipse on the side and since then their platoon has been known as Eclipse
